The moment you step off the train at Brussels Midi station, you
are met by our VIP Meet & Greet service. They will escort you
to the first class lounge where you can relax until it is time to board
the Eurostar train for Cologne. You travel in premium first class
and have lunch served at your seat. In Cologne, your hotel is
located steps away from the railway station.
An ICE high-speed train whisks you to Hamburg in less than
four hours. You travel through the Ruhr district, Germany’s
industrial heartland, so we’d be hard pressed to call the
journey scenic. But your train does carry a dining car, and
you arrive at Hamburg with all of the afternoon ahead of you.
A chauffeured cars awaits in front of your hotel to drive
you for little more than one hour through Northern Germany to
the port of Kiel and the cruise terminal. As a suite passenger
you enjoy VIP early boarding privileges, and step onboard
just in time for lunch  (we have included all meals,
including a gourmet dinner, on this 20-hour sailing).
This is the finest cruise ferry in Scandinavia, and you stay
in one of its best staterooms, a spacious 300 square feet suite

your seven-course gourmet dinner, the ship passes under the
impressive Storebelt suspension bridge. In the morning,

The Bergen Railway is one of Europe’s finest panoramic
train journeys, offering a seven-hour journey through
a spectacular landscape with mountains, lakes, forests and
fjords. This is the highest railway line in Northern Europe,
and you will be traveling above the tree line at one point.
You travel in first class with easy access to the train’s fine bistro.
In the morning, board a fast catamaran ferry for a
spectacular journey into the Sognefjord, the longest and
deepest fjord in Norway, and often called the “King of the Fjords”.
Marvel at the dramatic scenery with high mountains, waterfalls,
and even a glimpse of a distant glacier, before the ferry enters
a narrow and stunning side fjord for the final approach to Flåm.
The Fl̴m Railway is a short 20 km journey Рbut also one of the
world’s most spectacular train journeys, with panoramic views
across fjords, mountains, and powerful waterfalls. Climbing 867
meters, this is one of the world’s steepest stretches of standard
gauge lines. At the mountain station of Myrdal you change to
the Bergen Line and travel back to Oslo.
